It’s a tremendously impressive film, but it’s worth bearing in mind what they haven’t shown here. Namely, a few days’ planning, and a few weeks’ post-production time by extremely talented graphics folks, running expensive professional software on high-end workstations.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s remarkably ‘cheap’, in the grand scheme of things. But you’re still looking at well into five figures. I’ve a sneaking suspicion that the budget lines with the largest savings were costume and catering…
